Audrey Estelle Burgess Searcy died 12 October 2005, age 80

PHOTO: Estelle holding her son Mike. She was the wife of Bill Searcy, son of Edith Burford and Will Searcy. Edith was a daughter of my great-grandfather Alexander Oscar Burford, Jr., and his first wife Helen Virginia Lockard.

Cynthia Ann Till was born 12 October 1948

Cindy is the daughter of Junior and Mary Till (pictured, with baby brother Doug). Junior was the son of Leonard and Madge Treat Till. Madge was the sister of my grandmother Christie Treat Thomas.

Elmer was a son of John and Amy Tamsett Carter. John was a brother of my great-great-grandmother Adaline Carter Arnold.

Guy Rufus Cartee died 12 October 1965, age 72

Guy was a son of Thomas and Matilda Carter Cartee.

Matilda Carter was a sister of my great-great-grandmother Adaline Carter Arnold.

Samuel Asa Kinney married Hazel Vaughan 12 October 1929

The only picture I have of Samuel is cropped from a large group photo of the Gibson clan. Samuel was a son of Anna Gertrude Gibson (sister of my great-grandmother Lora Gibson Burford). Samuel's middle name, Asa, was undoubtedly after his grandfather, Anna's father (my great-great-grandfather) Asa Gibson (pictured).

William Edward 'Will' Searcy was born 12 October 1885 in Arkansas

This is the only picture I have of Will Searcy, cropped from a group photo (below) taken in 1949.

Will was the husband of Edith Burford, daughter of my great-grandfather Alexander Oscar Burford and his first wife Helen Virginia Lockard.
