Clarence John Johnson died 07 July 1985, age 82

Clarence was a grandson of Eva Herdman.

The Herdman family is related by marriage to the Treat branch of our family tree.

Jeffrey C Thomas died 07 July 1993, age 40.

I don't have a picture of Jeff. He was the grandson of Clarence Thomas (brother of my grandfather Bill Thomas)

Joseph Eugene Burford died 07 July 2003, age 84

Joe was the son of Raymond Burford, half-brother of my grandfather Lester Burford

Hildagarde Miller died 07 July 1998, age 82.

I don't have a picture of Hildagarde. She was the wife of Preston Miller.

Charlie O Garrett was born 07 July 1927 

That Garrett family... 

Cecile Jane Wackerly married Grover Cleveland Garrett. He was convicted of killing her father [Clem Wackerly] and sentenced to 5 years in the penitentiary in 1912. They married after his sentence. They were the parents of Ed, Everett, Vernon, William, and Charlie Garrett.

Everett Garrett was married first to Verlie Arnold. They divorced while she was pregnant with their second child, and she married his brother Ed. Verlie's sister Mildred married Everett. In 1966 Everett shot and killed Mildred, then killed himself.

William Garrett was the second husband of Elizabeth Ann Johnson. 

Her first husband was Melvin Baker, son of Agnes Carter. 

(The Carter and Arnold families were all cousins, in one way or another.)

Vernon Garrett married Violet Johnson, the sister of Elizabeth Ann Johnson (William's wife).

I believe Charlie Garrett was the only one of those Garrett brothers that did NOT marry any of our relatives.
