Alice Eldora “Dora” Quattlebaum Barnett died 15 January 1934

Alice was the 3rd wife of William Calvin Barnett. The Barnett family is connected to the Hicks family in several ways. Dora Barnett was the mother of Jack and Doc Barnett, who married sisters Ruby and Irene Hicks. Jack and Doc's half-sister, Gradie Barnett, was the mother of  Elvin Hicks' wife, Mildred McKay.

Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of Dora Quattlebaum or William Calvin Barnett. I have pictures of Jack & Ruby, Doc & Irene, and Elvin & Mildred.

Here's the genealogy (from FindAGrave):

William Calvin Barnett was the son of Joseph Ray Barnett of Tennessee and Cynthia Carolyn Smith of Arkansas. 

He first married Mattie Oliver of Arkansas on 24 Oct 1886 in White County, Arkansas. They had two daughters; Nora Aslee Barnett 1889-1890 and Iva Lena Barnett 1894-1929. Mattie died in 1891. 

Secondly, he married Emma Elizabeth Harrel of Tennessee. They were married 13 Aug 1893 in White County, Arkansas and had three children; Gradie* born 1894, and twins Pearlie and Earl L born in 1896. Emma died in 1900. 

Thirdly, he married Alice Eldora Quattlebaum of Gravel Hill, Arkansas, on 29 Dec 1901 in White County. They had ten children between 1902 and 1919; Everett, Vida Arvilla, Arvil Franklin, Emmitt, Beral, Benny, Maudie Adeline, Golden L, Carvil A and Dennis Calvin. Alice died in 1934 in Arkansas.

*Gradie Barnett married Oscar Houston McKay, and they had a bunch of children, one of whom was Mildred Bonnell McKay. Mildred married Elvin Hicks, brother of Ruby and Irene Hicks.
