Justina Gruening Till was born 1844 in Russia

She was the wife of Carl Till. 

Carl Till was born in 1840 in Russia, and died in 1924 in Michigan. He married Justina Gruening in 1869. She was born 11 June 1844 in Volhynia, Russia (now Ukraine) and died 08 January 1907 in Michigan.

Carl, Justina, Pauline, Julieanne, August, Ernestine and Carl Julius Till came to the USA on 21 July 1892 on the ship Darmstadt, departure port Bremerhaven, Bremen, Germany. (In the Ellis Island records there were also listed Olga and Rhinehart Till.) 

In the Carl Till family photograph, Julianne, Rudolph Gustav, and Friedrich were stepchildren of Carl Till. Pauline, Ernestine, Carl Julius and August were children of Carl and Justina. This picture was taken about 1900.

August Till married Augusta Reinhardt in 1897 and they had six children: Elsa, Agnes, Leonard, Edgar, Ruby, and Vera.

Leonard Till married Madge Treat, sister of my grandmother Christie Treat Thomas.

This picture was taken on the front porch of Madge and Leonard's house in Bangor, Michigan, about 1958. John Treat is Madge's brother, Mabel is John's wife. (Wathada is my mother, Ricky is my brother, and Dianne is me.)
