On This Day in Family History - March 23

 Anna Gertrude Gibson Kinney was born 23 March 1873

(I told you, all those Gibsons and Burfords were born in March!)

I think I've done a couple of posts lately regarding the genealogy of the Gibson family (direct descendants of ADAM and NOAH, if you believe FamilySearch!) Today I'll try to go forward in time...

Anna Gertrude Gibson (called "Annie") married John Samuel Andrew Kinney 17 October 1897 in Wayne County, Illinois. John already had four children with his first wife (Sarah Floyd, who died in 1896) - Gussie age 13, Emily age 10, Perry age 8, and Barton age 6. John and Annie then had eight more children (two of whom died at or shortly after birth) - Infant son, Sarah Elizabeth, Mary Elsie, Bertha Elizabeth (called 'Birdie'), Samuel Asa, Calder Hampton, John Louis, and Norva.

Unfortunately, the only picture I have of any of those children is a large group photo of the Gibson clan. It was taken around 1908.
