 Smith B.W. Gibson (my great-great-great-grandfather) died 10 March 1905

Smith Gibson was born 24 January 1824 in West Virginia, and died 10 March 1905 in Illinois. He married Rebecca Ocheltree in 1847, and they had three children -- Asa, James, and George. Rebecca died in January 1855. He married Emily Stanley in April 1855, and they had one child, a daughter named Mary (mentioned in the 1870 census, 8 years old). An old Gibson family history says that Smith Gibson had a daughter who died young. If so, it would have been referring to Mary. We have no other information about her.

Smith Gibson was the father of Asa Gibson. Asa married Adeline Lucretia Gard.
