Obie was the daughter of George Ned Arnold and Jessie Tamsett

I don't have any pictures of Obie by herself. Usually she is with Opie. I think they must have enjoyed being twins, because I've noticed that even in pictures in their adult years they have identical hairdos and eyeglasses.

Opie and Obie were born in 1917, the same year as my grandmother. Another cousin, Sylvia Arnold, was born the same year, also. They were very close and often had their picture taken together.

Obie married Vernie Davidson 27 October 1934 in Banner, Cleburne County, Arkansas

Obie and Vernie had nine children - Zenus, twins Toy and Coy, Gerald, Anita, Kay, Naomi, Wilma, and Verna.

Obie Arnold Davidson died 16 October 2000, Batesville, Independence County, Arkansas.

Vernie died exactly four months after Obie.
