Arnold Ancestors - Generation 4 - Verlie Arnold, Part Two

 Here are some pictures of Verlie when she was older.

Ed Garrett died in 2003.

 Verlie outlived all of her siblings and all but one of her children.

"At one time Verlie carried the mail on horseback, making the round trip daily from Banner to Jamestown earning $80 a month. She later retired after working thirty years for the J.K. Southerland Processing Plant. After retirement, Verlie enjoyed quilting, gardening and canning. Verlie was a minister who pastored in many different churches in the area. She was a faithful member of the Faith Full Gospel Church in Banner, Arkansas." (from her obituary)

Verlie lived to be 102 years old. Here are a couple of pictures from her 100th birthday party 27 March 2021.

Ed and Verlie are buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, Floral, Arkansas
