Not sure who this is. I think it is George Bullard's second wife Mary Alice Moorehead Bullard. She was first married to Daniel Robinson in 1891 and they had two sons, Levi and Herbert. About 1904 she married George H. Bullard, who was an uncle of John Henry Arnold, and they had daughters, Margaret Tessie and Georgia Alice. (See photo below.)

Arthur Ramsey and Maud Cartee. Not sure why they are together in this photo -- maybe they were engaged at one time? I don't think Arthur is related to our family. She married Sam Hall. She died at age 20 from tuberculosis.

I don't know who these people are, and I can't seem to locate the hard copy of the photograph right now. This album no longer exists -- I have rearranged all the photos into other albums since I scanned this one in the beginning. I'll continue to look for it and post it again when I find it. To the best of my recollection, this was a neighbor family or just some people who came to have their family portrait made. (My great-grandfather Ulysses Hicks was a professional photographer at the time.)

Adaline Arnold and her two daughters, Annie (left) and Etta (right)
Adaline was my great-great-grandmother. Annie was my great-grandmother.

This is the whole Arnold family, minus one - George - who may have been the person taking the picture. L-R: Marlie, John, Henry, Adaline ("Maw"), Annie, Etta ("Ettie")
Etta was born in 1900, so that will give you some idea as to how old this photograph is. This copy of it is kind of torn up, but I have other better copies of the same picture.

Arthur Ramsey
I don't know who Arthur Ramsey is, or whether he is related to us or not. I have another picture of him with Maud Cartee. But Maud married Sam Hall, and she died when she was 20 years old (of tuberculosis). I'll bet there's an interesting story there -- if only I knew what it was!

Oma Dell Barnett

This school group includes my great-grandmother Annie Arnold and her siblings George, John, Marlie, and Etta. I am not sure which ones they are . Here is a copy of the same picture tagged with my best guess -

George Thomas Carter and Larah (Laura?) Ann Elizabeth Wilkerson Carter with their children Lena, Frank, and Etta. Laura died in a tornado. George was a brother of my great-great-grandmother Adaline Carter Arnold.

Birdie and Marlie Arnold
Here's what cousin Glynda Carter Tucker wrote:
Marlie was the fourth child of Henry and Adeline.  He married Birdie Hays in 1915.  They were married at Concord, Arkansas.  He was also a blacksmith.  Their first child was a boy, born dead.  They had eight children.  All born in Cleburne and Independence Counties.  Two of the eight died young and six are still living.  Marlie died in 1970 and Birdie in 1978.  Both are buried at Wilburn, Arkansas.

Ulysses and Annie Hicks, Charlotte ("Tot") and Albert Williams
Ulysses and Tot are brother and sister

Hope and Dorothy Mae Arnold
daughters of Marlie and Birdie Arnold (Marlie was Annie's brother)

Ulysses Fillmore Hicks
my great-grandfather

Lloyd Leasure, Thomas Lyles, Albert Earl Sheffer, Raymond Browning
I have no idea who these boys are. I'm guessing they have something to do with Judsonia high school -- maybe the track team? (My great-grandfather Ulysses Hicks was a professional photographer in Judsonia, Arkansas, so he took pictures of people who were not relatives of ours.)
