Ruby was the wife of Elmer Reed.

Before Elmer married Ruby he was friends with my Arnold relatives in Cleburne County, Arkansas. One of those relatives was my grandmother Cleffie Hicks (daughter of Annie Arnold). After Ruby died, and after Cleffie's husband Lester Burford died, Elmer and Cleffie were married.
