Charles Hanriford Byrne, Jr. was born 15 December 1845 in West Virginia

Charles was the son of Charles Hanriford Byrne, Sr. and Temperance Gibson.

This photo is used in both the FindAGrave memorials for Charles Sr. and Charles Jr.
I have concluded that this is Charles Jr. because the medal on his uniform appears to be the same one as on his suit in the later photograph.
Of his military service, the memorial reads:
Enlisted 1 Dec 1861 at Olney, Illinois in Co. A, 63 regt, Illinois. Vol. To serve 3 yrs, mustered out as Corporal at Louisville, Ky13 July 1865
This is the only picture I have of Charles Byrne Sr. and his wife Temperance Gibson. (It's a very small photo.) If the FindAGrave records are correct, these would have been the first three children - Uriah, James, and Evalina (born in 1834, 1835, and 1838). Charles Jr. was born 7 years after Evalina.
Temperance Gibson was the daughter of Nicholas Gibson and Lydia Sink.
The Gibson family are the ancestors of my great-grandmother Lora Gibson Burford.

On FindAGrave, this photo is on the memorials for both Lydia Sink Gibson and Temperance Gibson Byrne. I don't know which one it really is.
Charles Hanriford Byrne, Jr. married Editha Adeline Lambert
