Raymond was the firstborn child of Alexander Oscar Burford, Jr. (my great-grandfather) and his first wife Helen Virginia Lockard.

After Helen Virginia died, Alexander married my great-grandmother Lora Gibson Burford.

Charles McMillan Ford died 29 April 1944, age 88

Charles was a brother to my great-grandmother Nancy Ford Thomas.

Cleffie Hicks Burford married Elmer Reed 29 April 1999

Cleffie was my grandmother. 

Harold Wayne Baker died 29 April 2008, age 74

Harold was the son of Agnes Carter and Elmer Baker.

Agnes was a daughter of John Martin Carter (brother of my great-great-grandmother Adaline Carter Arnold).

Henry August Weber was born 29 April 1896

Henry was the husband of Agnes Till.

Agnes was a sister of Leonard Till, who married Madge Treat (sister of my grandmother Christie Treat Thomas).

Bernarde William Thomas died 28 April 1999, age 71

Bernarde was my dad's brother.

Christine Arnold married Harlan Riggs 28 April 1951

Christine was the daughter of John and Gracie Arnold.

John Arnold was a brother of my great-grandmother Annie Arnold Hicks.

George Thomas Carter died 28 April 1955

George was a brother of my great-great-grandmother Adaline Carter Arnold. (Mother of Annie Arnold Hicks.)

Jeffrey Dallas Treat was born 28 April 1958

Verletta Garrett was born 26 April 1944

Verletta is the daughter of Ed and Verlie Arnold Garrett.

Verlie was a daughter of George Arnold (brother of my great-grandmother Annie Arnold Hicks)

Verlie married Ed Garrett and they had 4 children: Wes, Leon, Youl, and Verletta

In this photo Wes Garrett is missing - he died in 1952 at age 15. The family memoirs say that he was killed by a bull.

Evan is the son of Lowell and Elaine Hicks.

Lowell is a brother of my grandmother Cleffie Hicks Burford.
