Between Fairhope and Mobile, Alabama, on the western shore of Mobile Bay, is a battleship, the USS Alabama, permanently docked and open to the public, along with a submarine and an airplane (B2 bomber?) and some other military displays (I think there's a little museum and/or gift shop, too). Some time around 1992 my mother and her cousin OmaDell made a trip to visit me and we went to Battleship Park. Here are some pictures from that adventure.
