Cecil Hurlbut married Nina Katherine Naftzger 11 February 1916 in Bangor, Michigan, daughter of Jay Dow Naftzger and Sarah Hoffman.  She was born 20 August 1895 in Indiana, and died 23 December 1971 in Bangor, Van Buren County, Michigan.
