Thelma was the daughter of William G. Thomas and Jeanette 'Nettie' Durren.
Thelma Thomas married Gustave Rhinhold Treichel in 1923 in Indiana, son of Johann Treichel and Auguste Hermina Friedrike Rode. He was born 26 February 1902 in Benton Harbor, Michigan, and died 12 February 1958.
Thelma and Gustave had one child: Patricia K. Treichel 1931-2019 (married Philip A. Brown)
Thelma Thomas Treichel died 11 July 1962, age 61, in Benton Harbor, Berrien County, Michigan.
Gustave Treichel died 12 February 1958, age 55, Benton Harbor, Berrien County, Michigan.
They are buried in Crystal Springs Cemetery, Benton Harbor, Berrien County, Michigan.
Patricia Treichel Brown died 30 September 2019, age 88. She is also buried, with her husband, in Crystal Springs Cemetery.
