Lois Arnold married Clarence David Newman 18 January 1941 in Heber Springs, Arkansas. He was born 31 December 1911 in Missouri, and died 28 June 1980.

Lois Ermell Arnold married Clarence David Newman in Arkansas and had 6 children - Bessie (Betty), Irma Donsean (Donnie), Clarence Doyle, Richard Arnold, Johnny Neal, and Phillip David. She was preceded in death by 2 sons and 1 daughter. As of this writing all members of this family and several grandchildren have passed on.

Lois Ermell Arnold Newman died 4 Oct 2002 (aged 77) Rodeo, Contra Costa County, California, and was buried in Live Oak Cemetery Concord, Contra Costa County, California.
