"Uncle Pink" (the only thing I ever heard him called) was a brother of my great-grandfather Ulysses Hicks

Bess and Record were the parents of Billy Wayne Wheetley

Wayne and Joann Wheetley were members of the church I attended all the years I lived in Arkansas (Bethel Grove Church of Christ in Judsonia, Arkansas). Bess was a member of that church, too. I had been going to that church for several years before I found out they were related to our family.
